For NatWest CricketForce (NWCF) 2015 the ECB’s Association of Cricket Officials (ACO) is getting involved to bring some focus to scoring and umpiring facilities in cricket clubs.
Umpires and scorers play a crucial part in our beloved game of cricket and it’s important that their match day experiences are as satisfying and enjoyable as the players and spectators.
With that in mind, we’d love to hear from those clubs that are planning to use their NWCF event to renovate scoreboxes, scorers huts and/or umpires changing rooms. Tell us about your existing facilities and what you plan to do to “spruce them up”.
We’re looking for six exciting projects that the ACO can support by providing additional volunteers and then showcase to their members to demonstrate what clubs are doing to better support grass roots officials.
