Compton leaves Somerset
Nick Compton has parted ways with Somerset by mutual agreement, the club confirmed today. Compton joined Somerset in 2010 from Middlesex, and spent five years with the south-west county. During his time at Somerset Compton amassed 5,140 first-class runs at an average of nearly 56, including a career-best of 254 not out against Durham in 2011. …
