Stuart Broad has taken pole position in the England FTI MVP Winter rankings after helping secure a tight win in the second one-day international with West Indies.
A fine bowling performance saw him claim 1-25, before an unbeaten 28 helped set up a win and lift his overall points tally to 191.
Broad, who also tops the England Test Match MVP Winter standings is now 15 clear of second-placed Ben Stokes.
Michael Lumb is in good shape, too, after hitting a century on his ODI bow during the first game of three.
His 106 earned him 41.73% of his team’s total and 26.77 ranking points. He then hit a solid 39 in the second encounter, which propelled him to 14th despite having played just four times.
The FTI MVP rewards players for every run scored, wicket taken and catch held across all three formats of the game.
Bowlers receive higher marks for good economy rates, bowling maidens and dismissing the top order, while batsmen are rewarded for high run rates and the percentage of the team’s runs they hit.
