Edgbaston T20 sells out

With the second Test of the Investec Series between England and India just around the corner, Edgbaston Stadium has now officially sold out its final allocation of tickets for the NatWest International T20 between the two teams on Sunday 7 September.

Edgbaston released its final allocation of tickets for the NatWest International T20 just days after Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s men arrived in the country last month. However, the demand for this match has left only a small number of hospitality spaces.

Gareth Roberts, commercial director at Edgbaston, said: “There’s always a huge interest when England meet India at Edgbaston.

“Whilst England have an outstanding record here in all forms of the game, India will have fond memories of Edgbaston after last year’s nail-biting victory in the ICC Champions Trophy final.

“We’re very excited about seeing both teams back in Birmingham in September, and despite our NatWest IT20 being a complete sell-out, supporters can still see England and India meet here just five days earlier when we host them in a Royal London ODI.”

Edgbaston hosts the fourth ODI of the Royal London Series between England and India on Tuesday 2 September. To purchase tickets for England v India in the Royal London ODI at Edgbaston on Tuesday 2 September, visit www.edgbaston.com/tickets or call the Ticket Hotline on 0844 847 1902.
